Understanding Hackers: A Beginner's Guide
Hackers are individuals who use their technical skills to gain unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, and/or data. There are different types of hackers, each with their own motivations and methods of operation. Black hat hackers, also known as crackers, are those who use their skills for malicious purposes, such as stealing sensitive information or spreading viruses. White hat hackers, on the other hand, use their skills to identify and fix vulnerabilities in systems, often working as security consultants or researchers. Gray hat hackers fall somewhere in between, sometimes acting with malicious intent, but also sometimes performing "ethical hacks" to expose vulnerabilities and promote security.
